Another Perk of ACDN Membership

At the Alliance for Career Development Nonprofits we are always looking for ways to better serve our member organizations.  As the chair of the Membership Committee and the Executive Director of a nonprofit who serves women going back to work I very much understand the constraints on time. I try to be very selective with what I commit to and consider how what I do will impact the organization and the women we serve.

Keeping all of this in mind, busy schedules, ACDN’s goal to engage our members and most importantly you, our members I am very excited to kick off a new quarterly membership meeting of ACDN. I know, for me, the ACDN annual conference is something I look forward to all year.  The information we share, the connections I make with colleagues and peers is amazing... but it is never enough time!

The goal of the new quarterly membership meeting is to carry on the networking at the conference and continue the conversations.  You can look forward to the following:

• Mini Brag & Steal session… a favorite at conferences!
• Q & A: get valuable feedback from your peers on challenges that you face (you are not alone!)
• Learn more about ACDN resources including Board Liaison Program and Virtual U Learning eLibrary, ACDN Community, conference updates, highlight of Member Blog, etc.
